Back to Utah

After a week and a half in Idaho Falls we drove back down to Utah, this time to stay with Brad and Ali.  On Friday, July 20th, we spent the day in Salt Lake City.  We went to Temple Square and to the History Museum.  We walked around a little, with our main goal being the children's area, but we got turned away because they were already full. :(

We met up with Brad and Rich and ate lunch at City Creek. After lunch we went to the Disney Store to buy Carver some Cars.  That boy is obsessed with Lightening McQueen.

At this point Buffy went home.  Ali and I, looking to completely exhaust ourselves and our children, continued on with a trip around Salt Lake on Trax.

Oh yeah, we had to get a picture in front of the temple.  Walking there, Ali and I discussed in length how it would be our luck that one of our kids would fall in the reflective pool.  Carver, never wanting to disappoint, fell in right after I took this picture.

Our final stop was a tour of Brad's law office.  Super surreal that Brad really is a lawyer and has a real office over looking temple square.

Later that evening I picked Todd up from the airport. He had been in Kansas city and Wichita for work.

Saturday morning we drove south to Sandy for a day at the Family Fun Center.
Bounce toys, Lazar tag, ball pits, pizza party, scooters, arcade games, and water slides. Super fun.

This may be the only photo evidence that I was on this trip...
